The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), is the unit of Ministry of Human Resource Development Department in India. Eligibility Criteria For Admission in Engineering Colleges: The minimum eligibility criteria for admission process requires candidate must pass in 10+2 level examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 exam.
The second important requirement is engineering entrance exams scores. The popular engineering entrance exams conducted at all India level is JEE Main. However, there are also other engineering entrance exams conducted at the state levels, Institute level, University Level etc. For admissions in the IITs, selection will be done on the basis of JEE Advanced.
